Welcome to Leaves Of Lorien, located in Central Florida. We are a small hobby breeders involved in a new and exciting breed called the Biewer (Bee-Vair). Our Biewers parents are F3's and our puppies are F4's at least. Be assured OUR Biewers are the ones following Mr. Biewer's Standard not something that is adjusted by another club's "fit what we produce standard"! We are actively showing and have all medical testing done. This is to insure that when bred, we will be producing puppies that will help establish the breed here in the United States. They were imported from Germany during 2003 and have been carefully bred to insure the Breed will become strong, healthy, happy companion pets. The following pages will let you read of their history in Germany, their early beginnings, the man who developed them in their homeland. You will also find their standard, medical concerns, the tests to make sure you get the best puppy for your family.
This Breed is a is similar to a Yorkshire Terrier in structure and coat texture but they are a much calmer temperament. They love to socialize with other dogs and cats and are a non-shedding breed.
We are proud members of the BBCA. Involved with the BBCAR the rescue, for any Biewers in need. They are registered with BBIR and ARBA. Some day our goal is to see them become UKC and AKC when the time is right. They are presently being shown in ARBA, IABCA, NAKC.
